Andrei Mirea (or simply Mirea) is a citizen and noble of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks, holding the title of "Duke of Enada". He is recognised particularly for his architectural proficiency, but also for being a critical voice concerning Ciupitism, the monarchy, and Mib Boby.
Andrei is known for his work overseeing the construction of Enada's hypodrome, "Hipodrom Fulger", and its subsequent modernisation. His career began when he was appointed Palatine of Enada and assumed responsibility for organising the city. Due to his achievements, he was appointed Minister of Construction in Mib Boby's Cabinet. However, his inactivity led to a change in his political position, making him one of the critical voices concerning Mib Boby and causing him to leave the One for All party.
Andrei was the first Palatine of Enada, serving between December 2022 and March 2023. During his tenure, Enada's foundations were laid. Andrei selected the town's current location on the mountain, a decision contested by some citizens. Despite his preference, the citizens selected the mountain's foothills for their residences.
On 14 April 2023, he requested that the Queen create and confer the ducal title upon him.
The title was conferred upon him on 22 April, during the national holiday celebrations of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks. However, it came with strict terms and conditions and no executive authority, making it an honorary title.
Andrei is the subject of numerous controversies due to his outspoken nature, but he is still respected for his contributions to the development of Enada and its infrastructure.
Despite his contributions to Enada's development, Andrei has been the subject of several controversies. He has been known to incite revolts and has been a vocal critic of the monarchy.
He was made to swear allegiance to the Crown as a condition of his appointment as Duke of Enada.
He has been a vocal critic of Bucket Saint Radu's decorative and architectural proficiency, frequently comparing it unfavourably to the architecture of the Zaganians. This has led to him being labelled a heretic by those most devout to The Way of the Bucket.
He is also suspected of conspiring with the Zaganians during the Zaganian Wars of Enada, enabling them to steal Radu's flying residence. He had long threatened to demolish it, but the local authorities, who declared it a protected national and religious heritage site, did not permit this.
Andrei is also considered a separatist because, on 10 April 2023, he led a revolt alongside other citizens concerning the authority of the state in Enada, demanding autonomy, an end to central-government influence in the town, and other concessions for the protesters. The President of the Cabinet, Mib Boby, labelled Andrei a "separatist" and declined his demands.
However, Andrei continually threatens to declare the mountain on which his castle is situated an autonomous territory. The central government has not taken any action concerning these statements, considering them merely declarations.
Despite his controversies, Andrei is remembered for his contributions to the development of Enada's infrastructure. The hypodrome whose construction he oversaw still stands as a testament to his work, and his castle atop the mountain that partly surrounds the town remains a memorable landmark.
