Ciupitu

Deity Ciupitu (Vasile Ciupitu)
Image
Nickname Ciupi
Religion Ciupitism
Domain Ciupitism
Origin Romania

Ciupitu, known as Vasile Ciupitu before his ascension and sometimes referred to as Ciupi, is the main God of Ciupitism. The religion is centred around Him and His teachings and has a significant following in Nucilandia and the Brotherhood of the United Blocks.

Description

Ciupitu is typically depicted as a wise and powerful god with a strong warrior's build. He is often portrayed wearing a gladiator helmet and wielding a sword.

Origins

Ciupitu is a very elusive figure. According to Ciupitism, He walks in the mortal realm as an average Romanian citizen, while denying His holiness and claiming that He is simply a regular human.

He also attempts to hide from those most devoted to Him, particularly those who publicly proclaim His godhood to the wider world. He especially hides from Hori and Mib Boby, who first discovered that He was a god and not simply a male human.

After Hori and Mib Boby departed and continued their lives, Ciupitu returned. Years later, they remembered His embrace and His Holy Pinch, and went back to Him to greet and welcome Him back into their lives. He was surprised, despaired, and departed again.

Hori and Mib Boby later attempted to make Ciupitu president. He accepted the nomination, but then left. This departure shocked Hori and Mib Boby as much as their return had shocked Ciupitu, and they felt a great pinch down to the bone that they would never forget. They resolved not to leave Him again.

eRepublik Affiliations

Before his ascension, Vasile Ciupitu was associated with several eRepublik political parties. In 2012, he was a member of The Matza Party, also styled The Mâtza Party. In early 2023, under the name Angetenar, he was rediscovered as president of UDE MEREU, whose takeover by Hori and Mib Boby became known in Ciupitism as The Second Pinching.

On 12 April 2023, Mib Boby discovered that Ciupitu had joined Templierii, both its political party and its military unit. This discovery led Hori and Mib Boby to plan a future takeover of Templierii, with the intent of renaming it Vasile Ciupitu and replacing its logo with Ciupitu's old profile picture. Mib Boby planned to contact his network and encourage them to join Templierii and vote for the takeover effort, while Hori considered creating clone accounts for additional votes while taking precautions against detection and vote invalidation. If successful, the effort would become known as The Third Pinching.

Worship

Ciupitism teaches that by following Ciupitu's teachings and living a virtuous life, believers can achieve salvation and eternal pinching in the afterlife.

Ciupitists perform regular rituals and ceremonies to honour Ciupitu, including spreading His word, pinching people until they believe, pinching fellow believers as a friendly gesture, pinching each other at unexpected and inopportune moments, and participating in gladiatorial games. Jokes regarding Vasile Ciupitu are always welcome among believers.
