| Description | Sacred tome of the Way of the Bucket, preserving teachings, laws, and mysteries of the faithful. |
Codex Găletorum is the sacred book of ethics, reflection, and conduct of followers of the Way of the Bucket. Composed by Vladonil Betulen, it is a foundational text of the Pinched Church that presents the balance between bucket and pinch.
Vladonil composed the Codex after receiving the Pinch of the Ear, a discreet revelation concerning the sacred duality of bucket and pinch. He composed the text in solitude in his stone hut, arranging it into four books corresponding to the four symbolic sides of a well-crafted bucket.
The Codex is dedicated to those who select silence rather than boasting, balance rather than excess, and lived truth rather than frequently proclaimed truth. Unlike doctrinal works that impose commands, it is intended to guide and enlighten its readers.
The Codex Găletorum remains a central source of doctrine for the Way of the Bucket and informs its teachings concerning humility, restraint, sacred buckets, and the relation between bucket and pinch.
