The Marshal of the Royal Court is the highest-ranking official of the Royal Household of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks and serves as the principal coordinator of the Court's ceremonial, protocol, and administrative affairs. He is responsible for assisting the Sovereign in the exercise of their official duties and acts as the principal liaison between the Monarch, the Royal Household, and public authorities.
The Marshal oversees the organisation of official programmes, state ceremonies, receptions, and other events involving the Sovereign, ensuring that matters of court protocol and ceremonial are properly observed. He coordinates the activities of the departments and officials of the Royal Household and may represent the Sovereign in dealings with public authorities and other institutions when authorised to do so.
As the senior official of the Royal Court, the Marshal advises the Sovereign on matters relating to protocol, official engagements, constitutional duties, and the functioning of the Royal Household. He also serves as the principal channel of communication between the Sovereign and the various offices and departments of the Court.
In addition to his duties as Marshal, the officeholder serves concurrently as Chancellor of the Royal Orders, Master of Ceremonies, and Keeper of the Royal Protocol, overseeing the administration of the Royal Orders, the organisation of ceremonial occasions, and the observance of the traditions and protocols of the Royal Court.
