Enada, nicknamed The Bucket City, is a city in the Brotherhood of the United Blocks (FBU). It is located at the border between the FBU and Nucilandia, and is touching Solara, a city in Nucilandia. Enada is known for its beautiful and holy lake, which has been a great landmark for the city, as well as being the location of the lost city of Găletida. Enada used to be part of the Friendly Towns Programme.
Enada has a rich history, and has faced many challenges over the years. The city was frequently attacked by zaganian raiders, but was always saved by the brave men and women who defended it.
Enada was once abandoned, in early 2023, but was later revitalised by Mib Boby and Hori, who had just joined the town. The locality was transferred from MineBerry to NuciCraft on 16 March 2023, initiating a period of expansion. They nationalised all the resources of the city and discovered a great number of buckets spread across many containers in some of the properties. Radu and Bianca were both canonised as the Bucket Saints within Ciupitism because of that, and Enada's Monastery was converted from Christianity to Ciupitism.
The monastery conversion took place after Hori brought copies of The Pinched's Pray, a prayer to Vasile Ciupitu, and The Buckets' Pray, a prayer to the Way of the Bucket, both in Romanian. This prompted Mib Boby to act, even though Vasile Ciupitu had already been declared the official religion of the FBU and the Bucket Saints had already been canonised for several weeks.
During Enada's early-2023 revitalisation, Hori's castle from Hokazuro was rebuilt in the city as another replica in a chain of castles that had originated in Hori's Minetest single-player world and continued through a Minetest server and Hokazuro.
On 2 March 2024, Hori issued National Decree 12.62.1 for Nucilandia, ordering StarCraft static defences along the border near Enada. The decree also directed the recovery of Nucilandian construction materials previously donated to the city.
On 13 November 2025, tensions at the Enada-Solara border prompted Nucilandia to announce what it described as a "special military operation", citing security concerns and alleged extremist cells within Enada. The Brotherhood of the United Blocks and Nucilandia concluded the Treaty on Modification of the Nucilandia-FBU Border that day, making the frontier a straighter line by transferring the relevant half of the small lake to Nucilandia and the nearby hill to the FBU while leaving all other border segments unchanged. On 14 November, Nucilandia publicly declared the conflict peacefully resolved and announced renewed alliance discussions between the two countries.

Enada was repeatedly raided by the Zaganians in the first part of 2023, in a series of battles that later became known as The Zaganian Wars, which reached their climax during the month of April.
The invaders usually came straight to the lake, or at least near it, often storming Radu's lake house (the bucket shop). Although the individual raids ended in Enadian victory, it seemed as if the fighting would never end, and the impact on the town's people and infrastructure quickly became noticeable. During one of their raids, the Zaganians stole Radu's flying house (the bucket transporter) and towed it back to their encampment.
The town was successfully defended by the brave and fierce inhabitants and the combined forces of the FBU and Nucilandia, with Mib Boby and Hori personally taking part in most battles. Other notable heroes include Denisse, who is also credited with the discovery of the location of the Zaganian encampment; and Cosmin Beep.
The Bucket Saints and Ciupitu himself played a critical role in the defence of the city, with the saints unleashing holy water upon the invaders from one of their greatest buckets, and Ciupitu smiting them with a mighty pinch afterwards, during a great raid that ended in such an overwhelming defeat for the Zaganians, that they put an end to their raids, and rarely caused trouble since.
The last battle of the Zaganian Wars was documented by the Palatine of Enada of that time, Hori, on 25 April 2023, in a book called "The Zaganian Wars", marking the official end of the war.
The revolt was later documented in the in-world book Istoria Enadei: Revolta din 10 Aprilie, written by Hori, then Palatine of Enada, on 9 January 2024. The book describes Enada as a quiet city in the Brotherhood of the United Blocks that had nevertheless endured both triumphs and periods of disorder.
The revolt was carried out by Andrei Mirea, Ana Mirea, and Denisse, who were collectively known as the "April Tenthists" or "Zece Apriliști". Their revolt was directed towards the President of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mib Boby, and Hori, even demanding their resignation from public office. Their demands included the return of the nationalised goods, the abolition of the Local Public Warehouse, and the elimination of state authorisation for constructions.
It all started with the fact that the Enada Lake drainage project affected the plots of the aforementioned citisens. Although the state had reduced the size of the lake and created ample space for the promenade, these individuals were dissatisfied. Moreover, they also contested the idea of the Local Public Warehouse and the nationalisation that had taken place.
Mib Boby considered the demands scandalous and refused to resign from office. Instead, he published a letter titled "Response to the Protesters in Enada", expressing his point of view, which further angered the protesters. Subsequently, he met with the leaders of the revolt, and through discussions, they reached a compromise that involved improved communication regarding major projects in the city, membership in the Local Public Warehouse being optional and based on registration, and no more mandatory approval for constructions. These concessions marked the end of the revolt and were later remembered as evidence of Enada's capacity to adapt and reach compromise in difficult moments.
The revolt on 10 August 2023, is considered the most challenging moment since the abandonment of the town at the end of 2022. It left profound marks on Enada, shaping the micronation's political course, halting the Friendly Towns Programme, and deepening divisions within the community, with some citisens leaving the city. This revolt represented an unprecedented challenge to the governance of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks and even Nucilandia, significantly influencing elections and government policies.
The uprising began at the inauguration of the Enada Administrative Palace, where the display of the portraits of past and current Palatines sparked Denisse's discontent. She began expressing her grievances towards the city administration, Palatine Hori, and the Brotherhood of the United Blocks. Stemming from this revolt, Andrei Mirea founded the Enada Citizens Party (PCE), opposing changes in the city and seeking to maintain the status quo. Additionally, PCE representatives were dissatisfied with the access of Nucilandian immigrants to public positions, believing that they did not share the same values and were not sufficiently involved in community life.
The demographic changes in Enada fueled dissatisfaction among the "old guard," who felt threatened in their traditional positions of power. With the increasing number of Nucilandian immigrants, members of the "old guard" began to perceive this change as a threat to their identity and traditional values.
While the leaders of the PCE viewed this revolt as a defense of their traditions and values, some members of the Nucilandian immigrant community perceived it as a manifestation of discrimination. These differing perspectives deepened divisions within the Enada community and complicated the process of reconciliation and reconstruction after the revolt.
Mib Boby, the President of the FBU Cabinet, condemned the revolt as a threat to national unity, denounced violence and incitement to hatred, and instead encouraged dialogue and peaceful solutions. Protesters were not open to dialogue, necessitating the intervention of law enforcement forces from the FBU and Nucilandia.
After restoring order, the Cabinet instituted additional monitoring and surveillance measures to prevent further disturbances and to identify and neutralise potential threats to public order.
The Supreme Court convened on 13 August 2023, in an extraordinary session to judge the main actors of the revolt. Andrei Mirea and Ana Mirea were declared accomplices in coordinating the movement because, as influential figures, they supported the revolt; however, FBU authorities did not take action against them.
Denisse, holding dual citizenship, was tried by a joint FBU-Nucilandia court. As the leader of the revolt, she was charged with high treason and rebellion against the constitutional order for organising and mobilising the uprising. The court decided to exile her, and nationalise all of her assets.
Hori owns an artificial island in the northern part of Enada Lake, where he built a castle. The site was originally a small peninsula. Hori wanted to live on the same lake as Radu, rather than merely near it, but did not want to shrink the lake to create an island. Instead, he expanded the lake with Mib Boby's help by constructing a series of straight canals, creating a rectangular, tall, flat island and a larger lake around it.
Hori's island sits opposite Mib Boby's Monastery, also known as the Pinched Monastery (Romanian: Mănăstirea Ciupită), which is located east of the island.
Near the monastery, the Bridge of New Johns (Romanian: Podul Ionilor Noilor) crosses a thin canal from the lake toward the Local Public Warehouse and the forge. The bridge is named after Mib Boby, whose real name is Ioan, and others with the same name.
The Local Public Warehouse (Romanian: Magazia Publică Locală) serves as centralised storage for the residents of Enada. Concerns were raised regarding its function because most of the town's goods and wealth were stored there and belonged collectively to the residents. Hori and Mib Boby assured the population that Enada was definitely not a communist society and that the monarchy remained strong.
South of the Local Public Warehouse is the forge (Romanian: Forja or sometimes Forjeria). The forge's principal purpose is to smelt ores and cook food, while crafting and repairing are secondary functions. The Local Public Warehouse is better equipped for crafting and repairing items. East of the Local Public Warehouse and forge are Denisse's house and, further east, Ana Mirea's house. The warehouse and forge both have Enada Lake to their west.
South-west of the forge is the Subway building. It is not primarily a business, but a specialised food and ingredient storehouse, similar to the Local Public Warehouse.
Hori's island has three principal bridges. The Bridge of Foxes (Romanian: Podul Vulpilor) crosses the western canal. The Plebeians' Bridge (Romanian: Podul Plebeilor) crosses the northern canal and links the island to the monastery annexes. The Friendship Bridge (Romanian: Podul Prieteniei) crosses the eastern canal, links the island to the Pinched Monastery, and is named in honour of the friendship between Hori and Mib Boby.
The Thunder Hippodrome (Romanian: Hipodrom Fulger) is located south of the forge, south of Denisse's house, south-west of Ana's house, and east of Subway. Andrei Mirea upgraded it in early April 2023 after returning to Enada. It became very large, with more than 700 seats, and some residents started calling it a stadium.
North-east of the hippodrome is Bianca's house. South-east of the hippodrome, and south of Bianca's house, is the northern half of Peaches Square (Romanian: Piața Piersicilor). A large, straight boulevard called Peaches' Boulevard crosses the square and divides it into northern and southern halves. The two halves mirror each other: each has a fountain representing a bucket and a statue facing the boulevard. The northern statue represents Radu, while the southern statue represents Bianca; both are shaped as merfolk holding a trident in one hand and a bucket in the other.
Peaches Square is named after the peach trees that once grew there. It is now used mostly for social gatherings, including the annual Bucket Festival, held in summer. Each half of the square has six trading stalls, two on each side except the side facing the boulevard.
West of Hori's island, across the canal, is Sebi Gerosst's levitating house, nicknamed Naveta Spațială (English: Flying Saucer or Spaceship).
Most residents' houses in Enada are connected by a metro network, with underground railway stations at each house. The main station is located at the Pinched Monastery.
All residents of Enada have, and must have, a postbox in front of their homes. The FBU governmental postal company is called Poșta Frățească (English: The Brotherly Post).
Enadians rarely fish despite living around a major lake. Instead, they traditionally rely on regular meat, especially pork. At one point, residents stopped procuring food and relied on existing stores. After the town was abandoned and later repopulated, the nationalisation process centralised food stores along with other goods and wealth in the Local Public Warehouse, creating a large common stock of food and further reducing the incentive to farm.
The stock endured for some time, but Hori and Mib Boby eventually noticed it was shrinking. Pork was especially concerning because it was considered the best food available. Residents began storing pork from the warehouse in private stashes, and Hori did the same to ensure his own supply lasted until new production started. He still left substantial supplies in the warehouse and cooked the uncooked pork to compensate for the reduction of ready-to-eat food.
The situation later improved. Food was moved from the Local Public Warehouse to the Subway building, and many residents switched to beef, which became plentiful. Pork nevertheless remained rare, and some residents, including Hori, continued to refuse other foods.
Further south of Sebi's house, by the western shore of the lake, is the industrial district. It employs automation, though in the past forced labour was also used. Residents, especially Cosmin Beep, explored the lands around Enada to capture villagers from nearby villages and put them to work until this proved inefficient and automated or semi-automated farms were built instead. Cosmin Beep is the head of Compania Forțelor de Muncă Unite and is responsible for supervising and constructing many of Enada's farms.
Andrei Mirea is Ana Mirea's boyfriend and a cousin of Denisse's husband, who does not live in Enada. Andrei is an architect and strongly dislikes the appearance of Radu's houses, a sentiment shared by many residents. He jokes that Radu's dream profession would be architect for Zaganian houses, where his designs would be appreciated. Hori speculated that this might be why Zaganian raiders targeted Enada, especially Radu's lake house, after Radu left: they might have wanted his structures for themselves, or they might have wanted scrap metal.
Denisse is adventurous and often explores the Nether. Hori served as Palatine of Enada after recently joining the town, while being principally associated with Nucilandia, and Mib Boby served as the town's Metropolitan. Andrei has an unfavourable opinion of monarchy and often half-jokingly criticises the FBU monarchy, while Hori and Mib Boby are devout monarchists. Hori keeps a painting of Vasile Ciupitu above his bed.
Hori's island is home to many foxes. Two wild foxes arrived there at some point, and Hori cared for them, including planting trees to make the island more comfortable for them. The island now has a small spruce forest on its northern edge, inhabited by many mostly tame foxes. These foxes are considered the Holy Foxes of Enada because they drink exclusively from the Holy Lake of Enada and have lived by it for their entire lives. Foxes that arrived from outside are not considered holy, but their descendants are considered holy as long as they live exclusively on the island or at least beside the lake.
Enada is also home to many dogs. The original residents, including Mib Boby, Radu, Bianca, Andrei, Ana, Denisse, and possibly Sebi, owned dogs. Ana had especially many, and at one point bred approximately one hundred. When Enada became depopulated, many dogs became feral in the absence of their owners, and many did not survive. Numerous survivors were later re-domesticated after people returned, but a few feral dogs remain near the city outskirts.
Enada also has pet parrots and cats. Radu had pet cats in his lake house, where cats still live and drink from his endless buckets.
On 29 March 2023, Queen Constanța I visited Enada. Mib Boby guided her through the town, with Hori assisting them. The Queen was pleased with Enada. During her visit to Hori's castle, she observed that the library could be larger and requested that one fox be named Vulpița, after one of her dogs.
The next day, Hori upgraded most of his castle to allow for a larger library. He also prepared a name tag for the first fox cub to be born, first writing Vulpița and later changing it to HMF Vulpița, meaning Her Majesty's Fox Vulpița, making her a royal fox as well as a holy fox.
