Naoi is the capital city of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks (FBU). With an impressive combination of cultural influences, efficient governance, and profound spirituality, the city represents an emblem of unity and development for FBU.
The name Naoi reflects the FBU tradition of writing the names of important figures in micronational history in reverse. Naoi derives from the significant Romanian name Ioan, written in reverse. This tradition adds a distinctive element to FBU identity.
An earlier version known as Old Naoi was constructed by Mib Boby and friends in 2020. A preserved map of that version was transfered to NuciCraft in August 2023.
Located in the heart of FBU, Naoi has a permanent population of 44 residents. Constructed on the Minecraft platform, the city is notable for its creative and detailed architecture. As the capital, it is under the direct administration of the central government, which ensures the operation of institutions and public services.
Naoi contains FBU's principal institutions, including the Cabinet of Ministers, the Șuetă, and political-party headquarters. It is also the residence of the FBU monarch. The Royal Palace serves as the monarch's official residence and a central location for meetings and royal events.
The Diplomatic Quarter is an area dedicated to the diplomatic representations of micronations. Other micronations can construct embassies there or request their construction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The quarter provides a location for cooperation, dialogue, and cultural exchange between FBU and other micronational communities.
The Public Transport Society (STP, an abbreviation from Romanian) provides Naoi's transportation infrastructure and operates the subway, tram, buses, and local airport. This transport system connects residents and visitors within Naoi and with other FBU cities.
Naoi is an important FBU cultural and artistic centre. It hosts cultural institutions including museums, art galleries, and theatres, while its events and festivals contribute to the diversity and cultural vitality of FBU.
Naoi is also a significant spiritual centre due to the Pinched Church, its leader Bazileu Ciupit Piky. It also hosts Bucket Saint Radu's Ark an important sacred site of the Way of the Bucket, and protected as historical heritage. These attract believers and pilgrims from across the micronation.
