Princess Elena is a member of the Royal Family of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks, recorded by the FBU Government as born in 1935. She acted as Regent in 2024 while Queen Constanța I recovered from cataract surgery.
On 1 September 2024, Princess Elena, as Regent, inaugurated the 2024-2025 parliamentary session at Șuetă Palace and delivered the Throne Speech on the Queen's behalf.
On 6 March 2025, the Queen awarded Princess Elena the Faithful Service Medal in recognition of her devotion to the Crown and the Brotherhood of the United Blocks.
