Sister Anastiana Anzelis is a Ciupitist mystic and healer associated with the formation of the Way of the Bucket. Pilgrims call her the healer of souls with spiritual delay. She is said to heal through listening, patience, silence, and blessed water.

Biography

The Path and Mission

According to tradition, Anastiana discovered the Way of the Bucket after dreaming for three successive nights of a woman with a broken bucket dripping light. The Metropolitan of Enada identified the woman as Bucket Saint Bianca, co-founder of the Way.

Anastiana then began ministering to those described as spiritually delayed: people whose inner awakening came late and whose souls remained cracked and unfilled. She used a bucket of blessed water as an instrument of peace, teaching that healing came through attentive listening, patience, and silence rather than physical pinching.

Her dedication to solitude and religious service is also attributed to disappointment in love. Unlike Vladonil Betulen and Bartolomeu Găletăreanu, Anastiana left no writings; her doctrine survives through oral tradition and the memories of those she aided. Her deeds nevertheless inspired passages of the Codex Găletorum.

Disappearance

Anastiana's fate remains unknown. She has not been seen for years, and the last confirmed mention is said to appear in a letter from Bartolomeu, which calls her the one who heals without hands. Some traditions maintain that she lives anonymously, while others hold that she merged with the silence of the bucket.

The Zaganian of the Forgotten Village

One tradition recounts Anastiana's encounter with a wounded Zaganian in an abandoned house. She placed a bucket of water in the centre of the room and offered it without judgement. After she departed, the bucket remained full and its water undisturbed, even after the wounded man died.

Teachings

Anastiana taught that a cracked soul could be healed only through a whole bucket. She also held that a full bucket exists to serve another person, and that even a damaged bucket can carry light when treated gently.

Legacy

Anastiana remains an important figure in the Way of the Bucket, particularly among pilgrims who seek restoration after spiritual delay or disillusionment.
