The Bucket Saints, known in real life as Radu and Bianca, are canonized figures of the Pinched Church, considered the spiritual patrons of the Way of the Buckets and protectors of Enada within the Brotherhood of the United Blocks (FBU). Though they were never saints in the classical sense, they were people blessed with divine gifts. They were not chosen because they had 44 buckets – the buckets were sanctified because they belonged to them. From them stems the belief that a bucket is not just a container, but a vessel of faith, aid, and wise pinching. Their words remain in chronicles: "Veni, vidi, crafted buckets."
History
During their time on the MineBerry server – an era known as the Time of Plundering, when Enada was lawless and freedom was absolute – Radu and Bianca became known as skilled raiders. They tore down other players' houses in search of resources, and strangely, after each raid, buckets would pile up in their inventories, even though they weren’t looking for them.
At first this was seen as coincidence. But as the pattern repeated, the Clergy of the Pinched Church saw divine intervention.
- “The bucket appears where it must, even if you don’t seek it. That’s how Ciupitu works.” — Metropolitan of Enada
After their migration to the NuciCraft server and the reorganization of Enada under Palatine Hori, a new era began. Amidst a resource crisis, the inactive players' inventories were nationalized. Radu and Bianca were found to be in possession of 44 buckets – a number seen as mystically excessive, considering that only one is needed in the game.
The Pinched Church proclaimed it a miracle:"The Bucket wanted to be stolen. The Bucket allowed itself to be found. The Bucket chose the bucket-bearers."
Following the Bucket Census (27 March 2023) and the establishment of a sacred pinchist order, Radu and Bianca withdrew from public life. When Palatine Hori asked them to craft more sacred buckets, they replied simply, on 25 April 2023: “Our buckets have emptied. There’s no more water to give.”
The true reason behind their retirement is unknown. Some believe Radu grew weary under the weight of endless requests, while Bianca felt all buckets had already been crafted. Others whisper that Enada simply needed to learn how to craft on its own.
Apostles
Airamana Acselegna
Sister Airamana Acselegna, mystic and healer of souls suffering from spiritual lag, discovered the restorative power of the full bucket – a symbol of wholeness and hope. In a world full of cracked souls and creeping despair, Airamana brought peace through empathy and patience. Pilgrims said only a full bucket of blessed water, received with faith, could heal a broken spirit.
- “You can’t heal a cracked soul without a whole bucket.”
Vladonil Betulen
Vladonil Betulen, philosopher and master of discreet pinching, wrote the sacred Codex Găletorum – the scripture of the Way of the Buckets. To him:
- “Pinching without a bucket is half a truth, and a bucket without pinching is just an object.”
He retreated into solitude, meditated for 44 days, and carved the words that still guide the Way. It is said that Vladonil was taken by the holy rain, becoming part of the silence of Enada.
Bartolomeu Găletăreanu
Bartolomeu Găletăreanu was a pilgrim, martyr, and bucket bearer – herald of the pinchist light and keeper of sacred teachings. He spread the Way across the plains of Enada with unwavering resolve. Ambushed by pagans while carrying buckets filled with sacred texts, he became a martyr. Before his death, he raised a bucket in blessing, and his light remained on Enada’s fields. It is said part of his soul remains in that sacred ground, and since then, buckets fill themselves when it rains – a living memory of his sacrifice.
Samarian the Debucketed
Samarian the Debucketed is the fallen apostle and founder of the Secret Society of Buckets. Once a brother-in-faith to Bartolomeu, he walked the Way and carried blessed water. But doubt consumed him. He began pinching without blessings and crafted more than 44 buckets – breaking sacred rules.
His fall was sealed when he founded a secretive order where buckets were no longer revered, but used as tools of control. There, he uttered the words that cast him out forever:
- “The bucket is not to be carried, but dominated.”
Since that moment, he has been called the Debucketed, for no bucket has recognized him again.
