DescriptionThe sacred tome of the Way of the Buckets, preserving ancient teachings, laws, and mysteries of the faithful.

The Codex Găletorum is the sacred book of ethics, reflection, and conduct of the bucket-followers, composed by Vladonil Betulen, hermit philosopher and initiate in the mystery of discreet pinching. Unlike dogmatic texts such as the Book of Foundations or the Book of the Bucket Saints, the Codex does not command, but enlightens. It does not impose, but guides. It is a work of the soul, carved in silence, for those who seek not only the water, but its depth.

Withdrawn to his stone hut, Vladonil received the “pinch in the ear” — a discreet yet profound revelation — through which he understood the sacred balance between bucket and pinch. Thus, the Codex was born: a sacred guide composed of four books, like the four symbolic sides of a well-crafted bucket made of word.

The Codex is dedicated to those who choose silence over boasting, balance over excess, and truth lived rather than truth spoken too often.

“He who reads without pinching risks seeing with the naked truth-eye. He who does not see the inner bucket has no right to touch it. Leave these pages if you seek only water, not also the depth.” — Vladonil Betulen

Book I – The Bucket Commands

  • Pray to the Bucket Saints as you pray to your own pinch.
  • Do not craft more than 44 buckets, for you are not like the Saints.
  • Pinch no more than what you can carry in a single bucket.
  • Bucket from bucket gives rise to Găletida!

Book II – On the Sacred Duality: The Bucket and the Pinch

  • In the beginning there was the Bucket. And the Bucket was empty. But in its emptiness, the desire to be filled was born.
  • He who carries the Bucket without understanding it, bears only iron.
  • Pinching without the Bucket is vanity. The Bucket without Pinching is mere decor.
  • Pinching is the unseen touch of truth.

Book III – On the Virtues and Perils of the Bucket-Follower

  • The true path of the bucket-follower is silent, slow, and humble.
  • The joy of giving and the pain of losing coexist in the soul of the bucket-bearer.
  • Heresy begins when one no longer sees the sacredness of the bucket and fills only to be seen.
  • The Pinching never ceases. Even a cracked bucket can hold dew.

Book IV – On the Bucket and the Man

  • A full bucket represents the whole soul, ready for wisdom.
  • Man is the vessel, but the Bucket is the choice.
  • Pinching begins the journey, filling completes it.
  • Each bucket fills in silence, with clean hands and an attentive soul.
