Enada, nicknamed The Bucket City, is a city located at the border between the Brotherhood of the United Blocks and Nucilandia. It is situated not far from Solara, a city in Nucilandia. Enada is known for its beautiful and holy lake, which has been a great landmark for the city, as well as being the location of the lost city of Găletida. Enada used to be part of the Friendly Towns Programme.

History

Enada has a rich history, and has faced many challenges over the years. The city was frequently attacked by zaganian raiders, but was always saved by the brave men and women who defended it.

In early 2023, Enada was abandoned, but was later revitalised by Mibu and Hori. They nationalised all the resources of the city and discovered a large number of buckets spread across many containers in some of the properties. Radu and Bianca were later canonized as the Bucket Saints within Ciupitism because of that, and Enada's Monastery was converted from Christianity to Ciupitism.

The Zaganian Wars

Enada was repeatedly raided by the Zaganians in the first part of 2023, in a series of battles that later became known as The Zaganian Wars, which reached their climax during the month of April.

The invaders usually came straight to the lake, often storming Radu's lake house (the bucket shop). Although the individual raids ended in Enadian victory, it seemed as if the fighting would never end, and the impact on the town's people and infrastructure quickly became noticeable. During one of their raids, the zaganians stole Radu's flying house (the bucket transporter) and towed it back to their encampment.

The town was successfully defended by the local inhabitants and by reinforcements from allied Nucilandia, with Mibu and Hori personally taking part in most battles. Other notable heroes include Denisse, who is also credited with the discovery of the location of the zaganian encampment; and Beepbeep.

The Bucket Saints and Ciupitu himself played a critical role in the defence of the city, with the saints unleashing holy water upon the invaders from one of their greatest buckets, and Ciupitu smiting them with a mighty pinch afterwards, during a great raid that ended in such an overwhelming defeat for the zaganians, that they put an end to their raids, and rarely caused trouble since.

The last battle of the Zaganian Wars was documented by the Palatine of Enada of that time, Hori, on 25 April 2023, in a book called "The Zaganian Wars", marking the official end of the war.

10 April revolt

The revolt was carried out by Andrei Mirea, Ana Mirea, and Denisse, who are known as the "April Tenthists". Their revolt was directed towards the President of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mibu, and the Palatine of Enada, Hori, even demanding their resignation from public office. Their demands included the return of the nationalised goods, the abolition of the Local Public Warehouse, and the elimination of state authorisation for constructions.

It all started with the fact that the Enada Lake drainage project affected the plots of the aforementioned citisens. Although the state had reduced the size of the lake and created ample space for the promenade, these individuals were dissatisfied. Moreover, they also contested the idea of the Local Public Warehouse and the nationalisation that had taken place.

Mibu considered the demands scandalous and refused to resign from office. Instead, he published a letter titled "Response to the Protesters in Enada", expressing his point of view, which further angered the protesters. Subsequently, he met with the leaders of the revolt, and through discussions, they reached a compromise that involved improved communication regarding major projects in the city, memebrship in the Local Public Warehouse being optional and based on registration, and no more mandatory approval for constructions.

10 August revolt

The revolt on 10 August 2023, is considered the most challenging moment since the abandonment of the town at the end of 2022. It left profound marks on Enada, shaping the micronation's political course, halting the Friendly Towns Programme, and deepening divisions within the community, with some citisens leaving the city. This revolt represented an unprecedented challenge to the governance of the FBU and even Nucilandia, significantly influencing elections and government policies.

The uprising began at the inauguration of the Enada Administrative Palace, where the display of the portraits of past and current Palatines sparked Denisse's discontent. She began expressing her grievances towards the city administration, Palatine Hori, and the FBU. Stemming from this revolt, Andrei Mirea founded the Enada Citizens Party (PCE), opposing changes in the city and seeking to maintain the status quo. Additionally, PCE representatives were dissatisfied with the access of Nucilandian immigrants to public positions, believing that they did not share the same values and were not sufficiently involved in community life.

The demographic changes in Enada fueled dissatisfaction among the "old guard," who felt threatened in their traditional positions of power. With the increasing number of Nucilandian immigrants, members of the "old guard" began to perceive this change as a threat to their identity and traditional values.

While the leaders of the PCE viewed this revolt as a defense of their traditions and values, some members of the Nucilandian immigrant community perceived it as a manifestation of discrimination. These differing perspectives deepened divisions within the Enada community and complicated the process of reconciliation and reconstruction after the revolt.

Mibu, the President of the FBU Cabinet, condemned the revolt as a threat to national unity, denounced violence and incitement to hatred, and instead encouraged dialogue and peaceful solutions. Protesters were not open to dialogue, necessitating the intervention of law enforcement forces from the FBU and Nucilandia.

After restoring order, the Cabinet instituted additional monitoring and surveillance measures to prevent further disturbances and to identify and neutralise potential threats to public order.

The FBU Supreme Court convened on 13 August 2023, in an extraordinary session to judge the main actors of the revolt. Andrei Mirea and Ana Mirea were declared accomplices in coordinating the movement because, as influential figures, they supported the revolt; however, FBU authorities did not take action against them.

Denisse, holding dual citizenship, was tried by a joint FBU-Nucilandia court. As the leader of the revolt, she was charged with high treason and rebellion against the constitutional order for organising and mobilising the uprising. The court decided to exile her, and nationalise all of her assets.
