  • Hori: Hori's name contributes the "Ho" part of Hokazuro. Known for his architectural vision and leadership, Hori played a crucial role in shaping the early development of the city.
  • Kami: Kami's name adds the "ka" to the city's name. His innovative and strategic mindset helped establish key infrastructures for Hokazuro.
  • Azzuro: Azzuro's name provides the "zuro" portion. His modern architectural style and creative energy influenced the city's aesthetic and urban planning.

This combination not only reflects the founders' individual identities but also signifies the strength and harmony of their partnership. The name "Hokazuro" encapsulates their shared vision and the collective effort they invested in building and expanding the city.

Additionally, the founders' decision to merge their names into one illustrates their commitment to creating a unified community, where diverse ideas and talents could come together to form a prosperous and cohesive society. This name stands as a testament to their legacy and the collaborative spirit that continues to drive Hokazuro's growth and success.

History

Hokazuro has a rich and complex history that spans from its early settlement by German pioneers to its transformation into a vibrant and influential city in Bloodcraft County. The city's history is marked by significant events, visionary leadership, and a dynamic interplay of cultural influences.

Early Settlement

The region now known as Hokazuro was originally settled by German pioneers in late 2011. The founders, Bloodylinkx3, Sunniix, and Cyco, known as the "Old Founding Fathers," established the initial settlement. They were drawn to the area's potential for development and its scenic mountainous terrain.

The history of Hokazuro is a testament to the vision, ambition, and resilience of its founders. From its early days as a German settlement to its transformation into a bustling city, Hokazuro has continually evolved, adapting to challenges and leveraging opportunities. The city's rich history is marked by innovation, conflict, collaboration, and exploration; laying a strong foundation for its growth and prosperity.

Romanianisation

In January 2012, three romanian settlers arrived: Hori, Kami, and Azzuro; who would later become known as the "New Founding Fathers." Their arrival marked a turning point in Hokazuro's history.

  • Kami and Azzuro: They arrived sometime in January 2012 and have started building their ambitious homes. Despite not speaking german, they were welcome into the community and English was used for communication.
  • Hori: He arrived shortly thereafter, joining the other two on 26 January 2012, around 8:48 PM (GMT+2). His presence brought a new wave of ambition and architectural innovation to the city.

Territorial Expansion and Conflict

From the outset, Hori, Kami, and Azzuro were territorial and sought to make their part of the town more beautiful and more exclusive. Their efforts eventually led to a series of conflicts with the original German settlers.

Around 9 February 2012, the Romanians launched a campaign of sabotage against the Germans. They set fires and vandalized German properties, aiming to drive them away and claim more parts of the town for themselves. This campaign, although aggressive, was highly effective, leading many German settlers to abandon their homes.

A particularly challenging target was a house on top of a mountain near Azzuro's home. It was a prime target for Hori and Kami, and proved very difficult to vandalise, but it was finally breached and set on fire on 10 February 2012.

Development and Urbanization

With the departure of many German settlers, the Romanians took control of the town and began extensive development projects.

Many of the ruins were razed and the natural landscaped restored, while some were kept and rebuilt. One such example is the mountain home, whose property was acquired by Hori, who rebuilt it in its original design, with some enhancements.

Exploration

The spirit of exploration played a crucial role in Hokazuro's history, leading to the discovery and settlement of new territories.

In early 2012, Hori, driven by his adventurous spirit and a desire of both him and Kami to find new lands with a colder, snowy climate, embarked on a maritime expedition. His journey across the Bloody Sea led him to an untouched, snow-covered island, which became known as "The Island in The North".

Another find was a large new land on the other side of the Bloody Sea, which they called "The New Continent" or simply "The Continent". A japanese-style pagoda was built by Hori, as well as a small medieval fortress not far from it.

Key Infrastructure Projects

Throughout early 2012, several significant infrastructure projects were undertaken to enhance Hokazuro.

  • The Lake: Hori transformed a small water body between the founders' homes into a beautifully landscaped lake. Kami later put a large glass ball in its centre, and a tree was later planted inside of it.
  • Shop and Market Square: Hori built a shop near Azzuro's home, which featured prominent "SHOP" signs in the Romanian tricolour. In Template:Date:March 2012, a market square was constructed south of the lake, which later became a standard design for the Nucilandian markets.
  • Rail Lines: On 13 February 2012, an underground rail line was initiated to connect Hokazuro to Nordavia.

Feuding and Resolution

In March 2012, a conflict arose between Hori and Kami over a prime piece of land north of the lake, that became available after razing the ruins of an abandoned german home, and landscaping the area.

They both wanted the plot for their own expansion. Kami claimed it due to it being right by his home, while Hori argued he needed it because there was no other space for him to expand, being surrounded by mountains, the lake, and Kami's home. The feud was intense, but eventually, Kami conceded, and Hori built a modern white house on the plot, with a swimming pool in the backyard.

Agricultural and Urban Expansion

The city continued to expand with new agricultural and residential projects.

  • Semi-Automatic Crop Farm: In early March 2012, Hori built a semi-automatic crop farm east of his castle, on the other side of the mountain.
  • Sugar Cane Farm and Mill: On 16 March 2012, a large piece of land south of the market was levelled, creating a small plain which was designated for a sugar cane farm with a mill at its center.
  • Apartment Blocks: In late March 2012, six small apartment buildings were constructed by Azzuro south of his home, further urbanizing the settlement.
