The Royal Court (Romanian: Curtea Regală) is the administrative structure under the authority of the Sovereign of the Brotherhood of the United Blocks (FBU), with the main purpose of assisting in the exercise of the duties of the head of state. Its organization follows the rules and regulations approved by Șuetă (the Parliament), and members are appointed at the discretion of the Sovereign.

The Royal Court is not part of the government and remains exclusively under the leadership of the Sovereign. However, the Royal Court coordinates with the government regarding the planning of official state occasions and ceremonies.

The Royal Court will have the most suitable structure for fulfilling its administrative duties, and this structure will be updated through special legislation when deemed necessary.

Marshal of the Court

The Marshal is the highest dignitary of the Royal Court, serving as the Grand Master of Ceremonies and the most important advisor to the Sovereign. Among his duties are representing the Sovereign in relations with public authorities, establishing the program for solemnities and protocol for various occasions, and organizing the official activities of the Sovereign in the exercise of his functions as the head of state.

Organizational structure

The Royal Court is composed of:

  • The Civil House - responsible for the administration of royal residences, Royal Domains, assisting members of the Royal Family in fulfilling their public commitments, and managing royal protocol.
  • The Military House - ensures the security of the members of the Royal Family and royal residences, provides military support, and advises the Sovereign in military matters. Administratively, the Military House depends on the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but for the fulfillment of its tasks, it follows the orders of the Marshal.
